October 25th, MANHATTAN, KS - FREE LECTURE DEMONSTRATION & FREE WORKSHOP: COLLAGE: MEDIUM AND METAPHOR / The Beach Museum, Kansas State University: Hosted by collage artist and educator Professor Lynda Andrus, this free program will consist of two activies with a break for lunch. At 10:30am I will present an interactive lecture-demonstration during which we will discuss the implications of collage as a medium and new developments and techniques. There will also be time for questions and answers. At 1:30pm I will lead a 2-hour opportunity to explore, hands-on, Collage without Liquid Adhesives and Acrylic Image Transfer. Both activities are free and open to KSU students and non-students alike. Folks are invited to attend either or both activities. The program will be held in the UMB Theater at the Beach Museum.
